Cloudo A Great Web Based Operating System

Now there’s a bunch of web based operating systems out there like Ghost, icloud, FanBox, iCUBE, and many more. Although my favorite without a doubt would haft to be Cloudo. Although it doesn’t have as much features as Ghost, icloud, or FanBox the reason why I like Cloudo so much is that it’s so simple to use, but not only that a lot of the applications like the painting app, image viewer, word processor, and the text editor you can view the source code on, as well as the snake game, connect four game, and the clock widget, which all the apps are coded in XML, and there’s an app on there called Dev-Tool, which stands for Development Tool which you can use to create your own applications in XML for the Web OS, and everything you create, and download while using/on the web os you won’t screw up your computer, it’s completely safe, secure, and free.

Wanna add Documents, Pictures, and/or Music to Cloudo no problem, simply open up your Finder, select upload, and you can upload your file right into Cloudo, easy as that.

Also did I mention it’s customizable as well, you can change the themes to make it look like Windows 98/XP/Vista (also modified versions of them as well like Royal), Mac OS 9, or Mac OS X, and if you’re a Linux user like myself they even have themes for that like Keramik, Solaris, CentOS, and my personal favorite Ubuntu. Not to mention you can change the icons, and the wallpaper as well. Oh, and no operating system is complete without a web browser right? Well Cloudo has a built in one as well, it allows you to add, and manage bookmarks, but doesn’t have tabs, but still I give Cloudo a lot of props, and I think it’s nicely designed, and made. I think everyone should at least try it once, and see what they think about it.

Welcome

Hey peeps welcome to my official website my names Mike/Speed.

Some of you may be wondering why my site was down for a couple days, and why it’s so different now than before, and that’s because I changed hosts, due to the amount of bandwidth exceeding, webspace being to low, and the fact I needed more MySQL databases as VistaPanel only allows 5, as well as 5 sub domains, parked domains, etc: as well as 300MB for webspace.

So I’m now using Byethost which has 5632MB (5GB) for webspace, and 204800MB (200GB) for bandwidth. So I had to download each file individually from Vistapanel, and upload it to the new server Byethost manually. Now I couldn’t seem to figure out how to restore my database from my previous site onto here so anyone that registered on the old forum is now gone, as well as all the information on it. Sorry Guys :( I’m not gonna put the forum back up anytime soon though as I wanna see if people will actually interact with the site like post comments, etc: and if it seems that the site’s getting a lot of interaction I’ll definitely put the forum up, but in the meantime will stick with what we got right now, and see where the site goes. Now all the pages are back up except my old affiliates page, music page, and forum. I still have yet to make my own web layout for my site here as it’s now powered by WordPress, which is a great update to the site. I’ll continue to post articles, information on my software, blogs, etc: So you guys know what’s going on.

Additionally some of you maybe wondering. What’s going on with my YouTube Channel, and why is CamDesk back to version 1.0???

Well regarding CamDesk I deleted the project file thinking I was deleting a different project without realizing it, and when I recycled the recycle bin I realized I deleted the project, and was to lazy to try, and restore the files, so all the files that were in the project file like the icon, properties dialog gui, and all the codes were all gone. So I recreated CamDesk, and now it runs so much better than before. With 30fps, you can choose custom dimensions for your webcam to run (Great for people who have HD webcams) Additionally CamDesk, and some of my other programs have now gone Open Source such as NinjaClick, and PictureFrame.

Now regarding my YouTube videos. The reason I haven’t posted any videos in awhile I’ve been working on my websites, and created some new ones, which you guys can see them listed in the affiliates. Alongside that I will be deleting all my Gimp tutorials, and gonna try to combine all the basics of Gimp into one video, and animation basics into one video as well so that makes two basic video tutorials. The rest will be advanced tutorials like on photo manipulations, buttons, effects, etc: as I believe people wanna see more advanced tutorials anyway, and when they get the hang of how it works they’ll get a better understanding of Gimp then how I was doing my tutorials before. I know it sounds weird, but once you start seeing the tutorials for GimpPimp, and start doing the tutorial as in creating the effect in the video you’ll understand it more. Also all my Wax 2.0 tutorials will be removed as well, and replaced with Blender tutorials for 3d modeling, video editing, and game creation so a big future ahead for that site, and I can’t wait to get the tutorials coming for you guys, but before I can do that I haft to get my sites done first, and remove videos on YouTube.

Also all the alternative videos like Inkscape being a great alternative to Illustrator for example are all going to be removed, and replaced with one video having all the alternatives of expensive software that I know of in that one video, and free web based alternatives in the another video. However that won’t be for awhile, as I got certain things planned for that video that I don’t have yet, and don’t wanna release information on it yet. I want it to be a surprise.
